NOMADIC MOVES is a poetic documentary about the origins of connection. Developed over 16 years in the Egyptian desert, artist and filmmaker Barbara Husar collected the umbilical cords of her own herd of goats while living alongside shepherdesses and nomadic families. From this lived experience emerged a hammock made from the umbilical cords and a cinematic meditation on the simplicity of being in the flow of life.
