Every visit is a reset for the collector, the gallerist, the curator and the artist.
It traces a connective tissue that permeates architecture as a spatial body. An intermedial interplay unfolds within the functional unity of the cell and the extracellular space. Meteorite traps, bone wheels, reflective fried eggs, a polarization apparatus and a golden buckle ball communicate in a mycelial language. The BELLYROOM of Ship without Sea becomes the extracellular space, a threshold where relationships emerge and meaning takes shape.
Es ist das Aufspüren eines Bindegewebes, das die Architektur als Raumkörper durchwirkt. In der funktionalen Einheit von Zelle und Extrazellulärraum entfaltet sich eine intermediale Wechselwirkung. Meteoritenfallen, Knochenräder, spiegelnde Spiegeleier, ein Polarisationsapparat und ein Goldschnallenball kommunizieren in einer mycelartigen Sprache. Der BELLYROOM des Ship without Sea wird zum Extrazellulärraum – einem Zwischenraum, in dem Beziehungen entstehen und sich Bedeutungen ausbilden.
